If you are going to be filling it this corn harvest, regularly pulling some out of it, and have it empty by early next year you should be fine as long as it is not excessively wet going into your trailer. Bugs should not be an issue until the weather warms up next spring, I would not recommend holding corn over in the trailer until next year or it will definitely be full of weevil if left untreated. As long as it doesn’t sit for a long period of time without getting some pulled out of it you should not have to worry about mold forming on top, especially if you drive it after it is filled to level out the peak on top. If the corn goes in on a really hot day, it may not be a bad idea to open the lid on top and let some of the hot air out after the weather cools down.
