I’ve got a couple new rifles in the stable, a Mauser M12 with a Steiner 2-10x and a Remington Model 7 Custom MS with a Leupold 2.5-8, both in .308, and both super accurate. I’m sure they will both get into the woods. My two favorites are an old Remington Model 7 FS with a Leupold 2-7 VX-R in 7mm-08, and a Remington M7600 Carbine in 30-06 with a Leupold 1.5-5. These two will be with me 90% of the time. I alsolike my Marlin levers a lot!! And 18” barrel Texan in 30-30, 336 in .35 Remington, and 1895G in .45-70, all with 1.5-5 Leupolds.
