I have found this to be true. I guess guys like an external hammer. I have a model 56, 22lr, that may be the most accurate 22 I have. The 57m is certainly accurate, but I haven't been able to find a reliable source for affordable ammo to really test it. It IS more accurate than my Ruger 96/22 mag though.
