The government imposes regulations and taxes that make it more costly or prohibitive to manufacture, produce or create things in this country. The unions protect non-productive workers and make it even more cost prohibitive to do business in this country. Then they both blame industry for moving out of the country while the consumers want inexpensive stuff. Cant have it both ways.
Though that has been the case very often I know of a business that took a big chunk of their manufacturing south of the border and it was when Trump was in office. He made it far easier to stay here than any president in my lifetime. They left over stockholder greed.
