The youngsters generally don't give a crap about old Fudd hunting rifles. They are banging away at short range targets and steel with Glocks and ARs. If they have a long rifle of any sort it is a tactical setup.
Nothing wrong with any of that, but it is what it is. There has been a big generational shift towards tactical type firearms, and most of the kids into that stuff aren't interested in hunting forums. They hang out on Instagram, not on gun forums.
