Seems to be a Michelin Defender LTX M/S echo here. I just purchased four new 255/50R/20 ones for our GMC SUV the day before yesterday. #1 rated tire for SUV's from Consumer Reports for years running and I buy all the April Auto Issues of CR. Pricey little pieces, but I sure got a deal on mine. Store (Fleet Farm for you locals) is having a 20% off sale on tires. Then I signed up for their credit card and got another 10% off and because I spent what I did, they are sending me a $25.00 gift certificate. Then Michelin is sending me a $75.00 Visa pre-paid card from their winter promotion. Then a local used tire guy is giving me $75.00 for the half worn OEM Bridgestone Dueler tires that we dislike a great deal. I have Defenders on my F-150 that I like a lot and we have Latitudes on the other GMC SUV that are great tires. You could do far worse than Michelin Defenders.

My other auto is a .45

The bitterness of poor quality is remembered long after the sweetness of low price has faded from memory
