I put Cooper ST Maxx's on my Tacoma about a month ago. I'm liking them. They are pretty quiet IMO. And they're not terrible about throwing rocks. They do roughen up the ride a bit. But, I don't mind feeling like I'm riding in a truck. BFG KO2s are always nice.
