Recently bought a Vanguard S2 Select for $669 Canuck. I don't know what they retail for in the US but it must be considerably less because everything is.
Only put one box of Hornady ELD-M 120gr match through it so far, but 3 shot groups were routinely a bit below 1" at 100 yards. And I think it could do better with someone else shooting it. We're talking hood of my pickup with a bipod and the butt resting on a folded soft case....and Mr Shaky over here yanking on the trigger.
The rifles solid.
May try a blued Tikka just to see how well I like the feel and shooting it in 6.5 CM as well...but my sample size of 1 puts me in league with the fellows saying the Vanguard will get you there. I have no doubt that it can shoot considerably under 1 MOA,
