That's 1950. Very uncommon, but we see a few back then. Found a note that an early 1949 (probably) 99EG with serial number 521883 also had a steel rotor. Early trials for them? It was thought they did steel rotors due to lack of brass after the start of the Korean War, but that's a guess.
