I have four safe queens, Parker Bro's 16ga. SXS on an "o" frame made in 1909, took it hunting last saturday. 1956 Winchester Model 64 in 30/30, take it out to the range but not hunting yet. 1958 Savage 99 R in 358, my goto gun for local deer hunting, and lastly I have a beautiful byf 1942 Luger that I just love to shoot now and then.
I do make sure they're cleaned and oiled evertime they are used, and try hard not to bang them around while out in the woods, but I do like to use them.
I had a custom MRC left handed 358 made a few years ago that I put in a beautiful Serenget AA Claro laminated stock, this gun is just about the prettiest gun I own, and it also goes out in the woods with me. If they're in my safe they get shot, don't see anyother reason to own guns.
