Well, I've made a decision and I'm going to take my rifle to the range and see how well she shoots. If I like the results, she will get the opening day honors.
Like many of you have said, why buy a gun and not use it for what it was intended for. I initially bought the rifle to hunt with and hated the original stock. So I had this stock put on it and now it's supposed to stay in the safe? I just hope it shoots like my other Model 70's.
