Some double rifles will discharge, with the safety on, if you drop them on the buttstock. Good grief! I understand that dangerous game necessitates charged chambers and extreme carefulness. I guess this is an example of what happens when everything goes wrong. It's well and good to state 'always keep it pointed in a safe direction' and 'never put your finger in the trigger guard', but that doesn't cover tripping, falling, or other clumsiness.
