Insurrection is what they will try to get him on. Article 3 of the 14th Amendment outlines what is insurrection and the penalties for it. Conviction is like impeachment it requires a 2/3rds majority vote in the Senate, which they can't get. If convicted he will never be allowed to run for office again. The 14th Amendment is one of the post Civil War Reconstruction amendents shoved through by the Radical Republicans to punish former Confederate leaders.
