Back in the day I ran a small (40 employee) vending company, owned by a local Pepsi franchise. When a route driver job opened up I interviewed several candidates and ended up hiring a woman. She was the first female route driver in the company. Several people at the parent company congratulated me on hiring a woman. I was actually offended by that. I hired the best person for the job. Her gender played no role.

I didn’t last long at that job.


Never understood why your point isn't so obvious to others.

I guess we all want every advantage to get what we want.
It's called networking by some, nepotism if it helps others.😉

But on a wide demographic level, it is insulting to be told
you can't pull your weight and need a participation trophy.


Parents who say they have good kids..Usually don't!
