I make a hobby out of reading case law. Passes the time in the long winters. In our little mountain town, the local coffee shop is the place regular people go to visit and pass time. One visitor to our table is a Colorado state trooper. Nice guy but very professional. I bait him often and he has threatened to, in good humor, to take me out behind the cafe and Taze me. I asked him if during an investigation of a bank robbery, could any law enforcement personnel actually rob a bank as part of the investigation process. No of course not he said. I asked the same in a murder investigation could they commit a murder in the process of investigation. This got me a "are you really that stupid look" from him. The trap had been set. I then asked him why no arrest of LE personnel had been made during their child pornography investigation of people's computers. They had to look at it themselves to make a case against the sicko's. Again, he suggested we go out back and test out his tazer. Man, it's fun messing with him.
