Barry, how much is decent grass/alf hay per ton down your way?


Depending on quality it's roughly +/- $150/ton around here plus freight. $200 for really good stuff.



We try to grow most of our own hay and I'm guessing the hoppers took +200 ton, which for us is a lot. Looking back we should have hired out our dry land haying, by the time we got there the hoppers raised hell.
