Update: Believe it or not the rifle had a 308 magazine box in it. According to the GS: The 308 mag box feed rails sized for 308 were not able to grip the slightly thinner 257 RBTS case therefore dumping the rounds from the mag box. I guess this was an oversight on the assembly at USRAC ??!?!?!? 😬 257 magazine box was ordered and installed. Rifle now feeds flawlessly. Yeah, makes perfect sense.. How in hades did a 308 box get in that rifle??? In any case, glad it now works like it should.. And, FWIW, that is a gorgeous rifle! (drool)..
