How that 308 box got in is the mystery that probably won’t ever end. Bought the rifle from a fellow who received the new rifle in the early 80’s as a birthday gift as a youngster and was basically a safe queen ever since. Oh well I am just very happy all is good. Thanks for all the responses. I plan on “initiating” it this deer season on a GA Buck.
