Parker Hale 6mm Remington. I was 6. Dad and grandpa weren’t real big on worrying about the legal age being 10 years old in BC. I was probably 5 bucks deep by the time I was of “legal age”. Still have that 6mm.

Pretty much what I figured too… Dad’s last hunt was watching his grand daughter killing her first deer. Cancer had a pretty good hold of him at that point, but he still managed to walk across the field holding his granddaughter’s hand up to her first deer.
