I will admit, my first deer was shot with a 30-30 & a 170 grain Core-Lokt. Straight on frontal that went off center.

Jesus what a rodeo. Kind of soured me on the cartridge. Stepped up to something that scooted at about 3k fps and no rodeos.

Bet I could get along fine nowadays though. The Indian has learned how to steer his arrow a bit better.
