What actions by the generations preceding the Boomers caused the Boomer generation to do whatever it is they did?
Being born into one of the greatest economies in history was one of the primary factors. Part of the "good times make weak men" cycle.
Not that any Boomer has ever accepted responsibility for the results of anything he did (your post illustrates that nicely), but that one isn't on you.
