Clean off the bedding, if possible, toss the bedded Pic rail in the trash (and the Luepold right behind it), use a good torque wrench, and see what happens.

Fwiw - I put a Nightforce pic rail on a Bergara .300 PRC, put on a known reliable scope, Nightforce NX8, zeroed in three shots and promptly ran it out to 600 yards without issue. Bergara seems to be making R700’s better than Remington did on its best day.

Good idea. Tear it down and start over, without any glue. I have caught myself getting something crookedy once or twice over the years and when I got it home and looked it over, thought, “How the f*** did I do that and not see it!” Might not even find the gremlin causing the problem, but kill it with the do-over anyway. Takes some time, but not as much as sending it back.
