I am probably one of the least picky eaters here and I hate fruit cake. Each to his own but my opinion is that it is a terrible waste of money. I ate fruitcake when I was a kid because I was hungry. Back then I ate anything I could find.
I'm with you, it is terrible stuff. It ranks right in there with lutefisk, torsk, and gefilte fish.
