I said the L in Salmon until I was probably 40
my wife was like "what the phug did you just say?"
A good buddy of mine, from Texas of all places pronounced it that way... well, we were sitting in a bar in Victoria B.C. after a week of salmon fishing and I had enough and straightened his azz out..... we are still good friends....
