That is not hard to do .... hammer guns - whether lever or single shots , have notorously slow lock times ( 5+ milliseconds ). There is alot of things that can happen in that time ....... to put it so you can understand the comparison : rifles like the 99 ( around 2 milliseconds ) will have the bullet in the target before the bullet fired from a hammergun has even started down the barrel ...
