Good Morning. I recently joined and this is my first post. I'm looking forward learning and sharing information. I own 3 vintage 16 ga. SxS's and I have been using RST shells for years. I love them, but sometimes they run out of stock, and they're getting a little pricey. I have plenty of hulls and a MEC reloader with the shorty kit. I loaded a few shells and sent them out for testing, and I was a little disappointed with the results. RST shells with 7/8 oz. usually have velocity in the 1100 range and pressure 6000. Using 15.2 gr. of GREEN DOT, SG16 wads and 7/8 oz. of lead, the test showed velocity of 1200 and pressure in the 10,000 - 11,000 range. I feel that is too hot for my little guns. I'm going to purchase a few more bushing and try a little less powder, but I'm wondering if anyone has any recommendations for a low pressure, 2 1/2" 16 ga. I like to shoot my Parker and Fox guns regularly and there's no need to beat them up. Jeff
