I happened across some 130 grain Norma Whitetail .270 ammo at Scheel's in Colorado Springs when I was up there recently. Marked down to $18.99 a box and they had a LOT of it on the shelf. I hope it's good ammo, but I should have some great cases to load, no matter what. I bought 4 boxes and didn't even need any .270 at the time. I noticed it's made in Sweden just like the old Norma we used to know and love.
I bought the same for my 270 last year toward the end of the season. Shoots great in my rifle and I only shot one buck with that 270. Shot was at 150 yards and the deer bulldozed about ten feet and then he was dead as Elvis. For were I hunt in Alabama they are going to work well. Bonus is they are available. I stocked up on them so I guess I’m committed.
