Ky. has a law stating that only state & federal gun laws apply across the state. No local or individual gun laws by county or town will be accepted. Thinking that could someday be used in a bad way. But so far it's been great.

Both Louisville & Lexington have challenged it & tried to adopt their own laws, but they always loose.

Depending on how you feel about it, your states gun rights or constitutional groups should be urged to push for such a thing IMO.
