Anyway I was in love with his books as a kid and the main characters in his books almost always used 30-30 rifles. I can't remember that one specifically. Was that more about prehistoric hunting? I may well have. My local library had so many of his books and I read them all. I still have a half dozen or so that I purchased of his.
