I will most likely end up w/ a 300 RUM. The 30-378 Wby is very intriguing. I would like to hear comments from those familiar with one or both calibers. Recoil is normally not a factor but I never fired larger than 338. I have looked at the Rem Sendero and Wby MK V SS. Both rifles are 8.5 lbs. I would use them on elk etc. and weight is not a big factor, horses do most of the work. You folks have good info. here. Thanks.
