I’d not interacted too much with Gene over the years here on the campfire but thankfully we became Facebook friends a few years ago thanks to a common buddy.
Getting to know the man was a honor and I will miss him. Always proud to speak his mind and stand his ground most importantly (imo) when that personal stance was a minority opinion.
