I don't use HPs all that much, unless hunting hogs with my 22 pistol and not head shooting them...

But a 22lr with cci mini mag solids at the time, did in a 1000 pound cow that was down and needed relief.

It amazes some, but never me, what will fall to that 22 bullet placed precisely.... many a 500 pound or so hog fell when I was young..... and grandpa used to use 22 solid shorts from his single shot on the hogs...
