None of my Model 70s ever needed an aftermarket trigger. A properly tuned factory trigger is about as good as it gets IMO.
While for the most part this is true for a hunting rifle vs. say varmint, I had a late example M70 that the tolerances where so crappy that an aftermarket was the way to go. I went with a Rifle Basix and think highly of it. Chris, of LSR who did the work, prefer it over the Jewell's for most applications.
