Seafire: I am happy that a you are retaining the 17 HMR's.
I just got a call this morning from a fellow I have traded guns with for some time.
He has 5 Varminters in 17 HMR including those made by Volquartsen and Anschutz!
When I told him about the Anschutz Varmint model 17 HMR I saw at the Spokane Gunshow (with a Leupold 6.5x20 on it) he got real excited and is beginning a search for that Rifle.
The 17 HMR is a dandy little rimfire.
I love it.
And pardon my slow reply as I have been up in the high country making blisters on my feet chasing Elk!
