My fav 223 load for deer has been to load the 223 back into the safe and pull out my .250-3000 stoked with 100gr Barnes TSX's pushed with a max load of H414.
(But, I may have to try one of my .223's since I now have one with a fast-twist barrel that can handle longer bullets...)
