The 225 AB is another good one in that it's going to be ok up close, but it's still a darn good LR bullet...

The Big Z is doing great! Hunted a bit with that rifle last week. I set up under an old logging landing, where I had 500-yard vistas into the old cut. Out of curiousity I brought my Kimber to the stand also, with it's VX-III 2.5x8. At last light I still coulda whacked an elk in the little meadow at 500 with the Big Z, but the Leupold had been done for 10 minutes. So that was cool; wasn't certain how a "big" scope would fare in very low light.
