I tied Art's tonight, using his 'favorite' Stinger hook, plus in a very tricky variation. And attempting that variation gave me fits! It's possible that this one won't pass the mustard. Catsup, anyone? I might have to either trash it or send it along as a consolation unprize. I'll know more after I comb and trim.
Whew! It's passable. Good enough for the likes of the Cap'n, at least. (Poke around in it enough and you'll find a bald spot or two. Come to think of it, this fly is a lot like me! Custom flies, indeed.)
