Well, I gotta see if it is a REAL 1x8. It handled the 107 MKs fine, and if I have to I'll go back to those.

The scope came today--what a monster! It weighs 36 oz. The rings are very heavy as well.

An interesting thing about this game is the relatively small size of the community, and the subsequent ease of getting to talk to "names" in the sport, who willingly give out info. However, I'm sure they still keep their special secrets close hold................

For my loading, I bought a Dillon electronic scale and an Redding trickler. I didn't have an electronic scale, and the Redding trickler weighs a full pound, which is much heavier than the other trickler I have. I plan to throw a little light with my Harrel and then bring it up with the trickler. If the electronic scale is accurate enough, I'll use that. If not, I'll use my old RCBS 10-10 and use the Dillon to weigh all the other stuff I need to be weighing.

Man, am I glad I have a 3-day weekend. I have a lot to do, all very fun!!
