I got to shoot Selby's .416 a few years ago, and have been to the O'Connor museum in Lewiston and seen some of the famous rifles, including Eleanor's.
My personal choice would be Bell's 6.5x54 carbine, custom-done by Fraser of Edinburgh.
In the 21st century many "famous" rifles will have synthetic stocks, but so far I haven't sen anybody list Layne Simpson's original 7mm STW.
