Don't know about elk, because drawing a tag in Michigan is like winning the Power Ball Lottery. But TAC is the way to go with the 358, BLR 20" 2452fps average for 10 shots 586ft.
Geez, I find that hard to believe. My 20" BLR gets only 2447 fps with TAC.......
