the .375 XCR II i handled had what sure looked like the Remington magnum contour barrel profile, just like my stainless SPS .375 RUM. the XCR II has a 24" barrel, and my SPS had a 26" barrel. (i cut it though)

i did not weigh my SPS in the factory stock, but dropped into a AK Ti stock it is about 8# ready to hunt (optics, Montana sling, three rounds)
