They're real light though, mine with the Leupold VXR 2-7x weighs only 7 1/2 lbs.
Wow, that must be a really light scope & rings to only go 7.5 lb. since the bare gun goes 7.375 lb............
Might want to re-check that scale again.

I had the xcr in 280 rem and it weighed less then 6 1/2 lbs...When I bought it I thought that it would be close to the catalog weight. I put it on the postal scale and was shocked.
