rj, Well to answer your question yes they will fit. I just went out in the shop and pushed a couple of pins out and put the flooplate (properly called the Hatch Cover) from a stainless short action two piece unit into the cast aluminum frame of the Winchester 1-piece unit and it fit just fine.
By the way if you do get your PT&G aluminum one in we will need it send over for programming. We have the PT&G units for Remingtons but have never had one of their Winchester units in for fitting.
