Atheletes couldn't make it without lots of tape. High school programs buy it by the truckload. I can only imagine how much a typical pro team uses. Sports that are more contact related such as football, basketball, and soccer use tons of it to help joints hold together and to prevent injuries. Most uniforms have lots more material and you never see it though.

The way these girls are taped it looks like it is because of muscle strains. It limits the muscle's movement and prevents it from trying to pull loose from connective tissue. I've seen it used a lot with shin splints and other leg issues, but not on backs or abs before. Probably the same principle.


Most people don't really want the truth.

They just want constant reassurance that what they believe is the truth.
