I am running the 150 gr ttsx in a 30-06 between 2950-3k fps, would you feel this is enough for elk inside of 300yrds? Even though the barnes should give better penetration, is the bullet too light in your opinion?
Many here including me that have taken elk with a .270win and 150's.. An -06 with 150's would be even better. It looks like I'll either be running a 150NP, a 150AB or a 150TTSX for elk this year.
What powder r u gonna run while loading for your friend???
