I keep 3 white bumpers and 2 dokkens on a wooden plant stand by the side door. The other evening the wife and i were on the front porch. Trap kept buggin me to keep throwing a skin of what was left of a squeaky toy. He likes to pull the stuffing out of them. I hot tired of it only going a few feet, so i said to him," hey, why don't you go get one of your duckys and I'll throw that for you" . He looked at me for a second like he was processing what i said. He took off around the house, and the wife said this is gonna be interesting. He came back around with a dokken. Now he had a choice of bumpers or dokkens. Wife just shook her head and said He is just too smart. Did he really know a ducky from a bumper? when we train i do refer to them by name. I would like to believe he does. Will i do that again? Probably not. I want to think he is that smart! !!!!
