You are not the only one that hikes allot. Saying that someone doesn't use their gear so they don't know what they are taking about seems a bit harsh. I don't own any Kifaru packs but some things like over sized zippers on the shelters really made a big difference for me in cold nasty weather. But some people don't like the Kifaru shelters like I do. Some people don't like the Hennessy Hammock. I like the darn things but I don't imply that those who don't have never slept in one enough times. But I do appreciate your honest opinion on the Kifaru pack. I enjoy hearing from people that don�t like gear as much as those that do. I never even heard of Mystery Ranch before. I wonder if they make a military pack that uses Molle webbing so I can attach my pockets to it.
