I pack them out bone in for one simple reason: the meat processor I use makes the world's best Italian sausage, and he won't take boneless meat until January. Hence, either I wait, or I bring them out with the bones.

WRT knowing how to bone out an elk, I was deboning animals while you were still crapping in your pampers.

WRT being a hulkster, I'm 5'6" tall....try again. Most folks tower over me. But I know what I am doing, and when I don't know, I find someone that does, rather than blow smoke out of my posterior orifice.

WRT experience, my long day was 19 miles. But I know Ed T is for real....very few folks are in his class for mountain running. I'm a heck of a lot slower than that. I have never met Kutenay, but I am certain he's for real, too.....a lot of experience.

There is a difference between 20 years of experience and one year of experience repeated 20 times. Apologies to all but mtnblackdog.
