I feel the same way about my 1416 which is a 64 action.I gave $600 for it about 10 years ago.The 54 action guns were about $1000 back then.Price has about doubled for both now.

I have plenty of 22's but with my kids showing a lot of interest in shooting and hunting I would love to have a 54 action to hand down as well.
