I appreciate that and have thought along thoes lines but I do kind of like the roll over look.My main concern though is that I bury my cheek on most rifles and like a high comb or very low mounted small objective scopes on most rifles.
I own several 36mm objective scopes and only one 40mm on a Sako 75 Finnlight,which has a fairly high cheek piece.I don't like higher mounted scopes because I hate for my cheek to barely touch the stock.
I don't know without handling them if the higher cheek stock is just right or too high.I will likely mount a VX2 4-12X40AO
Is there any difference in the two actions other than single stage trigger on the 1710, VS slightly shorter barrel and two stage trigger on the 1712?
